  •  What is a virtual office?

    • ​We get it. Being confined to a desk or office may not be for you. Our Virtual Membership allows you to be on the go and still have a place to wow your clients. Each package include use of our location and discounts for all of our fully equipped meeting rooms/day offices. Includes professional mailing address with office hours access to your mailbox. This includes standard mail, packages, couriers & client drop-offs.

  • ​How does a Virtual Office work?

    • ​All the benefits of having an office space… without actually having an office space. We can meet and greet your clients in your absence. We can receive your mail, packages & client drop-offs. You will be granted access to meeting rooms & day offices (fully set-up offices that can be rented by the day) when you need a professional space to conduct business.

  • What is the minimum time that I can rent an office for?

    • ​‘The 221 Building’ offers flexible membership terms that can be as low as month-to-month membership. You can also rent a meeting room or a day office (fully set-up offices) by the hour.

  • ​How big of a package can you receive with the mail package?​

    • ​Nothing heavier than 25 lbs., no hazardous materials or chemicals.

  • ​How much notice do I need to give to reserve one of the meeting rooms?

    • ​All meeting rooms are bookable online at any hour and typically 24 hours or less is sufficient notice.

  • ​How do I get a quote?

    • ​Please feel free to contact us or visit our venue during our office hours which is every Monday – Friday, 9 AM – 5PM EST. Our direct number is: 954-237-3751.   • ​How big are the private offices?

    • ​Our private offices all vary in size from 75 sq ft to 400 sq ft.

  • ​What does the private office have?

    • ​All private offices come furnished with a desk, rolling file cabinet, desk chair and a guest chair per occupant.  Wi-Fi Internet, Utilities,  24/7 Access & Air Conditioning, Reception Service, Kitchen and daily cleaning service are the included amenities. 

  • ​Where are you located?

    • ​221 West Hallandale Beach Boulevard, Hallandale Beach, FL 33009 – we are west of Biscayne Boulevard (US1) and east of I-95.

  • ​Is there parking space available outside?

    • ​Yes we have parking in the front, side and back of our building.

  • ​What are the access hours?

    • Full time office clients have 24/7 access and air conditioning.  Virtual Office clients have access during business hours – Monday – Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm.  We are also closed most national holidays. 

Internet

  • How do I connect to ‘The 221 Building’ Wi-Fi network and what is the Wi-Fi password?

    • A: Upon your membership orientation and move-in day, we ensure you are completely set up! Our IT Support team will help you connect to either the open WIFI network or help to establish your own private network as well as connect you with printers, as needed.

  • How fast is the internet in the building?

    • A: We have a sonic speed 1TB internet connection!

  • What do I do if my ethernet ports/internet stops working?

    • From your online member portal, you can submit a ticket for any technical or maintenance related requests and our administrative staff will assist you accordingly.  

 

Conference Rooms

  • How do conference room reservations work and when are companies charged?

    • Conference room reservations can be made via your online member portal. You can find all conference rooms within ‘The 221 Building’ in this portal and can select and block the wished time for your meeting. For payment, you can choose to either pay as you book online via a credit card or we can automatically bill you for your time used in the conference rooms on your monthly membership invoice.

  • How do conference rooms/overages work? Can I book conference rooms more than a month in advance?

    • Conference room overages will be either billed at a later date and time or can be automatically billed on your monthly membership invoice, depending on how you paid for the specific reservation. You may book a Conference room up to three months in advance.

 

Printers

  • Are there office printers?

    • We have 2 Community Printers on site. One Community Printer per floor.

  • Can we bring our own printers?

    • You are welcome to bring your own equipment as needed.

  • How much does printing cost?

    • There is no cost for scanning options. Color Printing = $0.40/page and B&W Printing = $0.08/page.

 

Furniture

  • Furniture for My Office?

    • A: All workspaces are fully furnished. You will receive desks, filing cabinets, trash bins and guest chairs. You may choose to bring your own furniture as needed.

 

Phones/VOIP

  • Does my office come with phones?

    • Every office can be equipped with a VOIP phone upon request.

  • How do I make an international call ? Can you?

    • Our phone systems have the ability to make international calls, you must request this service be activated on your phone.

  • How do I reset phone voicemail or change my password?

    • You can update these settings via your phone’s menu options.

  • How do I troubleshoot phone issues?

    • From your online member portal, you can submit a ticket for any technical or maintenance related requests and our administrative staff will assist you accordingly.  

  • How do I use the conference room phone?

    • All conference room phones are ready to be used at all times. To use this phone, you pick up the receiver and then dial the number you wish to reach.

  • What Amenities Do You Provide for the Office Space?

    • Grand reception area for greeting your clients with receptionist  

    • Utilities (electric, water, etc)

    • Wi-Fi Internet

    • 2 Kitchens

    • Your individual lockable office & all common areas

    • Our 3 Conference Rooms can be booked for meetings – equipped with 4k Smart TVs and with a minimum of 8 seats per conference room.

  • ​What do the kitchens come equipped with?

    • ​We have a break room on each floor that comes equipped with microwaves, coffee maker, tea, refrigerator, sink and tables & chairs.

Membership Information

  • Does 221 Building charge members for utilities?

    • Utilities are included in membership at no extra cost.

  • Is there a setup fee?

    • ‘The 221 Building’ has no setup fee.

 

Billing Cycle

  • What does my membership include?

    • All memberships are uniquely customized for each member’s business needs.

  • How can I view my invoice?

    • All due and paid invoices will be emailed to the primary member for your workspace or mailbox. You can also log into your online member portal to review and download any/all of your past invoices, as needed.

  • What payment methods do you offer? How can I change or update my payment method information?

    • We offer Credit Card as well as ACH Bank payments as payment methods for your membership. You can also log into your online member portal to review and update your payment method details as needed.  

  • What does my monthly invoice include?

    • All memberships are uniquely customized for each member’s business needs.

  • How do I know if you have received my payment?

    • All due and paid invoices will be emailed to the primary member for your workspace. You can also log into your online member portal to review and download any/all past invoices, as needed.

  • How can I change the primary member on our account?

    • You can log into your online member portal to review and update your primary member details. You may also submit a ticket request via your online member portal to request this change and the administrative staff will assist you accordingly.

  • How can I update the address listed on my invoice?

    • You can log into your online member portal to review and update your address details. You may also submit a ticket request via your online member portal to request this change and the administrative staff will assist you accordingly.

  • Can I review next month’s invoice before it gets finalized?

    • You can also log into your online member portal to review and download any/all of your past invoices, as needed.

  • Can I do a month to month? No contract?

    • ‘The 221 Building’ offers flexible membership terms that can be as low as month-to-month membership. A contract is necessary for membership.

  • How big is the office? 

    • A: ‘The 221 Building’ has unique spaces that fit every business need! From single person workspaces starting at 75 sq ft to team workspaces that range up to 400 sq ft. Need more space? We can create a unique discounted package for multiple workspaces!

TV

  • Is there a TV in the Conference Room?

    • All Conference rooms come equipped with 65” 4K SMART TVs that also have APPLE TV. These TVs can screen share with either Windows, MAC, Android or iPhone.   

  • How do I connect my laptop?

    • To connect your android or windows device, go to the TV menu and select: SCREEN SHARE. The TV will prompt you with instruction on how to connect accordingly. To connect your iPhone or MAC device, change the HDMI channel to APPLE TV. From this menu select: SCREEN SHARE. A unique code will appear on the TV, enter this code into your device as prompted and you will be able to connect accordingly. Don’t be shy! The administrative staff can also assist you as needed.
